Supplier Code of Conduct
What we expect from vendors, contractors, and service providers we work with.
Purpose
Bernick & Beck expects every supplier, vendor, and contractor we engage, whether a technology provider, professional services firm, or otherwise, to meet the standards below. This complements our own commitments described inSocial Commitment.
Legal Compliance
Suppliers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where they operate, including labor, data protection, and anti-corruption laws.
Anti-Corruption & Anti-Bribery
Suppliers must not offer, give, request, or accept bribes or improper payments in connection with any dealings with Bernick & Beck.
Labor & Human Rights
Suppliers must not use forced, bonded, or child labor, must provide safe working conditions, and must treat workers with dignity and respect, consistent with internationally recognized human rights standards.
Data Protection & Confidentiality
Suppliers with access to any data we hold, including consultation request details, must protect it with security measures at least as strong as our own commitments in our Privacy & Cookies Statement, and must not use it for any purpose beyond what they're engaged to do.
Conflicts of Interest
Suppliers must disclose any actual or potential conflict of interest that could affect their dealings with us.
Reporting Concerns
Anyone, whether supplier, employee, or Network Attorney, who becomes aware of a violation of this code should report it to[email protected]. We do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who reports a concern in good faith.
Consequences
Failure to meet these standards may result in corrective action up to and including termination of the supplier relationship.
